Kurt R. Wicks, President of The Wicks Insurance Group, Inc. graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1971. He was recruited as a full scholarship athlete and played quarterback for the URI Rams. Upon graduation, he entered the life insurance business with Provident Mutual Life where he sold life and health products until 1979 when he was recruited by Allstate Insurance. After selling for several months, Wicks was promoted to Allstate’s Management Development Program and eventually assigned to manage numerous neighborhood sales offices in Connecticut. In 1983, Wicks was promoted to Regional Sales Training Manager responsible for new agent training and product introduction for all six NE States. In 1984, Wicks moved to NH and started his own Allstate agency, which became the largest in NE totaling six award winning locations in NH and MA. In 2021, Wicks transitioned from Allstate to open his own Independent Insurance Agency, representing multiple insurance providers to better serve customers throughout MA, NH, RI, ME & VT.
Wicks and his wife Beverly reside in Bedford, NH. They have five children, two of them Caroline and Greg, now own his prior Allstate business.
Ann has a bachelor’s degree in Business from Daniel Webster College. She is licensed in Property and Casualty. Ann has been with The Wicks Insurance Group since 1990. She began writing Property and Casualty and later moved to Commercial sales. Ann took over the operations of the multiple offices in 2012 and helped grow the agencies. When not at work; she loves home improvements projects and traveling with her husband Dan and her two children.
Chan is a lifelong resident of Lowell and has recently moved to Tewksbury. He is passionate about helping others in the communities he calls home.
